It’s Christmas! Oh no it isn’t… oh yes it is!
How on earth did December creep up on us? I cannot tell you how long my Christmas list is… okay, I do have a long present list but I mean my list of all the jobs I need to do before the big day. It’s never ever got to 7 December and not a single Christmas card written! At least now I can tick Christmas cake club off my list
We met at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley in the Gallery. Wow! What an amazing space. A huge thank you to Jane for opening up especially for us. The Gallery is full of works of art as you’d expect but lots of wonderful gifts, to suit every pocket. Handmade items, toiletries, jewellery, furniture, a million other items and even kites! Everyone should have a kite in their car boot as you never know when you’ll want to fly one!
The Gallery serve drinks and homemade cake so why not pop in and have a cuppa and a look round this fantastic space. You might just finish your Christmas shopping while you’re there!
Back to the cakes…
The cakes that attended on the night were:
Cherry Chocolate Fudge Snowman Bundt – Sharon and Craig
Cola Pinata Bundt – Sharon and Craig
Red Velvet Chocolate Bomb – Helena
Chocolate Log Bundt – Sam
White Chocolate and Mango Cake – Julie
Christmas Tree Cake with a Surprise Filling – Christopher
Chocolate Log Cake – Denis
Christmas Cake (with cheese on the side – it’s a Yorkshire thing!) – Mike
How clever was Mike putting our photo on the cake! Our cake club members are so clever!
A great night was had by all in this amazing venue. Thank you so much for having us. I loved that everyone had on their Christmas jumpers or Santa hats, I went with reindeer antlers!
CLANDESTINE CAKE CLUB
Bake Cake – Eat Cake – Talk Cake
… and take cake home!
Clandestine Cake Club is a great way to meet friends old and new as well as get to taste scrummy cakes!
My rather blurred Christmas selfie in the Gallery!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
