Last night was the VIP Opening Event for Taco Bell in Leeds so Mr C and I were excited to go along and see what Taco Bell can bring to Leeds! Situated in the St John’s Centre this new restaurant is definitely going to shake up everyone’s taste buds.
Not heard of Taco Bell? Started up 55 years ago in 1962 by Glen Bell, a former US Marine, this fast food chain serves Mexican inspired food including tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos. He was also the inventor of the preformed taco shell in 1951!
Our #TacoTuesday included many of their dishes and my favourites were the Slow Cooked Pulled Pork Quesadilla, Fully Loaded Fries and Nachos Supreme. Mr C also loved the Grilled Chicken Stuft Burrito. Taco Bell also do desserts, the churros were good and I definitely need to try a Chocodilla next time I’m there! I love ‘Dirty Fries’ and the fully loaded fries definitely hit the mark, Mr C even had to tell me I had nacho cheese sauce on my nose! Oops! The Freeze drinks were tasty in both flavours, Mojito and Daquiri, the Twisted Freeze was a grown up slush puppy with added alcohol! Mr C enjoyed a couple of bottles of Sol beer to wash down his nachos. (Alcoholic drinks aren’t available at every Taco Bell).Taco Bell in Leeds opens to the public on Thursday 8 June 2017. Do you love Mexican food or just fancy something different? I highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again soon! The food looks good as well as tastes good… You definitely eat with your eyes before you eat with your mouth. As per the TacoBellUK website… Craveable Tastes and Affordale Value.
