5B Almost Six Months On

on

Life suddenly changed on Saturday 14 March 2015 when we received the key to our allotment. I’d had my name on the council list three years and had finally got to the top. Oh dear I thought, what have I done?

Our amazing journey has included hard work, sweat and tears… over a tonne of soil, manure and compost… wood to build a shed and raised beds and many hours of happiness, joy and many whoops of achievement. Our triumph so far a third prize at Pudsey Show yesterday for our parsnips and a Trophy for one of our sunflowers, celery plants and a dish of blackberries. Looking through our photos shows why we’ve had many whoops and high five moments.
