Birthday Post

You’re on holiday near Glasgow and it’s your birthday, what would you want to do for the day?

Today it was Mr C’s birthday and we’ve been in search of the nineteen Edward 8th (EVIII) post boxes around the city.

We were amazed at how agriculture borders every corner of the city and how many different styles of architecture we came across spanning many ages and tastes! Lots of green spaces on our travels, thousands of chimney pots and a football ground or three and yes… dirty burgers and beer!

Our day in pictures.

A great clear EVIII cypher on most of the Glasgow post boxes, obviously re painted shiny red just before the Comonwealth Games.
