Nigel Howarth’s The Bull at Broughton near Skipton

We had another lovely meal at The Bull at Broughton for Mr C’s birthday meal with our parents in June 2014.  This is part of the Ribble Valley Inn chain with menus inspired by chef Nigel Howarth.

The place mats show that one of their Yorkshire suppliers is Tomlinsons Farm in Pudsey. We live five minutes walk from this farm and do our fruit, vegetable and meat shopping here every week. Amazing rhubarb and cauliflower from Tomlinsons is served at The Bull.

I was very jealous of Mr C and our friend Natasha last time we ate here because I didn’t have the Baked Alaska, I’m so glad I didn’t miss out this time!

Staff are lovely, a choice of real ales on the bar and seating areas inside and out.  Located adjacent to Broughton Hall this is a lovely place to eat whatever the occasion or time of day.

Highly recommend a trip to The Bull even if it’s just for the Baked Alaska!
