Small Patchwork Quilt

My first attempt at patchwork.
My lines and squares aren’t all in line but it doesn’t look too bad for a first attempt.
I ran out of bias binding less than half an inch before the end so goes to show a tape measure should be your best friend when sewing!
The top layer is made up of squares sewn together, there’s a layer of thin wadding in the middle with a floral fabric on the back and bright bias binding around the edge to cover the raw edges.

Finished quilt on the bed in our spare room, obviously for decoration only.
