Our latest Clandestine Cake Club for Pudsey and West Leeds took place the day after the BBC’s special 50th anniversary episode of Dr Who. So we not only talked cake but Dr Who too!
This event was held at Sandbar in Horsforth which had the perfect decor including circles making a lot of us think of the Tardis we used to see Tom Baker’s Dr in during the 1970’s.
The cakes that attended on the day:
Dalek Cake – Sharon
Cyberman Cake – Hannah
Tardis Cake – Jessica
Weeping Angel Food Cake – Nicola C
Treacle Spice Cake – Amanda
Kaiser Pudding Cake – Amy
Chocolate Black Hole Cake – Jennie
Chocolate Tardis Cake – Chris
Ood Cake – Helena
Custard Cake with Churros (Fish) Fingers – Steph
Weeping Angel Food Cake – Nicola L
Black Magic Cosmic Cake – Eleanor
Fish Fingers and Custard Cake – Alice
‘Still Not Ginger’ Cake – Emma
Madiera Tardis Cake – Alex
Tom Baker’s Dr Who Scarf in a cake – Jill
Cherry and Amaretto Cake – Hilary
A little bit wonky after travelling but Hilary did bring her son along… when I saw him stood in the queue for cake I actually thought it was David Tennant! Yes my heart did a little skip and I looked again… he really was a good look a like and also called David!

Lakeland were very generous and donated some Dalek items for us to give out on the day. We ran a raffle and raised £60 which we have donated to a local charity close to my heart… Pudsey Live at Home.
The Dalek cake stand and cake toppers were won by Helena and the Dalek cake mould was won by Hannah.
Thank you to everyone for their generosity.
