Pudsey and West Leeds Clandestine Cake Club already has two events in the calendar!

The original one on Sunday 15 April 2012 was booked up within 24 hours of going live on http://www.clandestinecakeclub.co.uk  and there is a waiting list so if you’d like to come email me on pudseyclandestinecake@gmail.com

What’s Your Favourite?

 So hopefully this is an easy one.

What is your favourite cake?

 Chocolate, coffee and walnut, lemon drizzle, Victoria sandwich, fruit cake, ginger cake, almond cake, toffee, orange, strawberry, cream, sticky toffee, Battenberg…

Not as easy as you think!

Come along and meet other people who like making cake, eating cake and talking cake.

The best thing is we get to take any spare cake home!

Venue

The venue for this Clandestine Cake Club Event is on the Rodley/Bramley border in LS13. Close to Leeds and Bradford bus routes, free car parking available.

Refreshments are available to buy from the venue and we would appreciate our members buying drinks on the night. The proceeds from these refreshments will go towards the venue’s current fundraising project and we do appreciate that they have agreed to host our Clandestine Cake Club event at no cost.

We all have some wonderful local ingredients, whether from a local farm shop, your allotment, or even something you’ve made… fruit, vegetables, jams, marmalades, lemon curds… the list goes on.

So let’s showcase our wonderful Yorkshire ingredients by making some delicious cakes.

The best thing is we also get to eat them!

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in the Pudsey area which is surrounded by history and has a wonderful backdrop of Yorkshire countryside

Refreshments are available to buy from the venue and we would appreciate our members buying drinks on the night and supporting the restaurant as they have agreed to hosting our Clandestine Cake Club event at no cost.

Points to remember.

  • Each cake must be large enough to slice into around 8 – 12 good slices.
  • Sorry, but No cupcakes, Muffins, Brownies, Cookies, Pies, Pop Cakes, Tarts etc.
  • Please allow 24 hours for a confirmation email of your booking.
  • Home-bakers, professional bakers and men can join in. It’s not a competition, no judging, just a lot of fun. And you get to take cake home.

  • Register as a CCC member and join the Pudsey Group
